Inquests

An inquest is held by a Coroner to inquire into the circumstances surrounding a death and seeks to establish how, when and why the person died. The Coroner calls witnesses to give evidence and Lawyers or relatives are able to ask questions to help ascertain exactly what happened.

We can offer a complete service for families and other interested parties from initial advice, to conducting preparation prior to the inquest and representation at the inquest itself. Information obtained from an inquest can often be helpful in any subsequent court proceedings.
